I've missed you!
I know you are all antsy for spring and are probably,
like me, getting snippets of it.
My mother has many different buttercups and
little daffodils in her yard.
I couldn't stop photographing them today.
She can't get out, so I brought them in to her.
You might notice a large yellow dog in my pictures.
I found him :)
He knows all the commands and can't wait
to sit/shake/roll over.
He also "hugs my neck".
It is so funny.
He is loving our many acres of woods.
After many Facebook conversations,
I found out who dropped him in the country.
I just couldn't believe anyone would train a dog,
only to get rid of it.
I had even taken him to the vet to see if he had a computer
chip embedded, which he didn't.
I've been calling him, "Boy" because he
I suppose it is time for a proper name.
Which brings us to the beaded butter knife...
a friend of mine did that for me!
I think it is gorgeous and I have a platter from
the same friend (sorry, should have shown it)
which is aqua.
I can't wait to serve some cheese and crackers,
using the two.
We had friends over Sunday night to watch the
new Bible miniseries on the History channel.
It was good and they had fun, I guess I will
do this again each Sunday night.
SO, I'll get some things to put on that platter
and use my new beaded butter knife.
Leave your suggestions below if you have any.
Please and thank you.
This last time, I made a lengthy sub sandwich
with lots of things on it and then cut
it in individual portions.
I made a mexican corn dip and someone
brought a caramel cake.
Talk to me :)
