Cake balls!

a neighbor lady had been asking if we could
make cake balls one day.
she knew i had computer access with
the directions.

they are SO easy and good.
we made strawberry with chocolate coating.
i'd like to make german chocolate and lemon ones.
have you made them before?
what kind did you make?
Bakerella is a smart cookie for inventing these.
i love her hot pink kitchen island, don't you?

Oh, those look so yummy! I haven't ever made them, but I've been seeing them popping up all over. I think I'm going to have to give them a try.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Marcia

Oh this is SERIOUSLY cool! I've never thought of making cake balls. Such a great and simple idea. They look divine. I LOVE cake (chocolate, banana, carrot, orange, madeira, marble - list goes on and on).... this has got my mouth watering in anticipation.

What a fun idea. That would be great to do for easter. Make them in jelly bean colors. Thank-you for sharing.

I've made cakeballs with a friend for our magazine last year - with sugarpearls and hearts, it was fun! Although. not as perfect as Bakerella's of course ;) Yours look very yummy too! Have a splendid monday, and thanks for your nice comment - made me happy!

My daughter made cake balls not too long ago and they were delish! I thought they would be too sweet but they were perfect. I think I'm going to make some and take them into my hubbys office. Have a great day!

I've never heard of cake balls before. What an interesting idea.

I'd probably like the lemon ones best. I love lemon flavor.

oh my these look wonderful! I have had a red velvet one before in a bakery in Dallas, and have made the brownie variety for my daughter's class as her birthday treat ~ I dipped the top of them in melted chocolate chips and chocolate sprinkles. I had bought this special rubber pan at the Hob Lob, it was a little messy and slow but they turned out tasty.

I have made them. I make mine much smaller, I think. I love them. It's kind of like therapy, making them.

I have eating instructions here: http://funnelfullofsoup.blogspot.com/2009/04/how-to-eat-cupcake-pop-as-shown-by.html
