I Heart You *giveaway*

i can bearly stand it!
one of you will win these three pillows~
made by me from pretty scraps!

in the comments ...if you'd like to win...
tell a Valentine memory.
it can be a funny one, embarrassing one or whatever!
(keep it clean...my little boy will judge :)
he'll make his decision on Saturday morning and
the winner will be announced then.
:)

~Be a valentine to someone who might feel
forgotten this Saturday~

you'll receive a blessing!

throw a posy in the snowsy
(or print mine off since we're giving things away...)
BUT take it to a shut-in ...
and say "you are awesome"
while you're there.

*patiently waiting here for my goosedown
featherbed to arrive*
does anyone else sleep on one?
are you making something sweet for the weekend?
have fun!
thanks for being here :)

Hello. Pick me, Pick me!!! My sweetie is really cheap, oh wait, I should say a penny pincher. Sooo... roses are out of the question on Valentine's Day. Instead he bought me a rose bush to plant in the back yard. It is wonderful because now I have roses every year!!!

As a child I'd have a big package of Valentines to send out. Looking at all the cards, making the decision, after much pondering, as to which Valentine was going to which friend was more fun for me than receiving Valentines I think.

Happy Valentine's Day my friend.

First of all ... LOVE the snow pictures!!! They make me feel so peaceful ... just like snow.
Second of all ... I LOVE the little bear with the heart pillows. If I win I plan to get one to each of my three children.
Third ... my very favorite Valentine memory.
I was in the fourth grade and my family did not have money to buy Valentine cards to give out at school. I could not think of how I would go to school on Valentine's Day and not give out valentines to the kids in my class. Somehow I managed ... and everything turned out great. All the kids in my class gave me a Valentine and no one said a word to me about not having Valentines to give to them. Now everytime Valentine's Day comes around I remember the children who might not have Valentines to give out and I say a little prayer for them. That's about it.
Blessings,
Bren

Oh, Mrs. Mannery would love your hearts, and especially because they are made from scraps of this and that.

I'm making Valentines, and I plan to do a little baking. I have a heart shaped pan, that I'm going to make brownies in, and then I'll dust them with a bit of powered sugar.

You have been taking the most wonderful photographs lately. I think you should submit them to Sommerset for one of their magazines. If that sort of thing appeals to you.

I love these sweet pillows. I have so many sweet memories. When I was a child, then with my children growing up. One stands out. When I was i the fourth grade a boy gave me a big card and a 2lb. box of candy. I was so surprised and embrassed. I hid it in my desk at school all day. When I got home (he was my neighbor) he came over and we ate chocolate until we could not eat any more. It seems like yesterday instead of 47 years ago!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day to you too. Well, I never had any boy who liked me. So no memories on this particular day. I've never sleep on a goosedown pillow either. Do tell me how nice it is.

One Valentine's Day on the train ride home from work my "train friends" and I were talking about what we were going to be doing that evening, gifts, flowers etc. And I said, the one thing I'm sure of is that hubby will not buy me flowers - he never does! Guess who was standing on the platform with a bouquet of roses! My "train friends" really enjoyed that one!

Happy Valentine's day to you!

On my first Valentine's day with my ex-husband, flowers were delivered. Daffodils which I love but guess what...I had to write a check to pay for them.
This year, my roses arrived early and I am enjoying them already!!
Have a wonderful Valentine's weekend with all of your sweeties!!

I loved Valentine's day in gradeschool the most - putting together "mailboxes" made out of old shoeboxes covered in paper and foil. Exchanging sweet little valentines with my friends. Heart shaped treats and orange drink! Yum!
