Gingerbread House


*dragees and candycane sprinkles*
from our local Mennonite grocery
along with lots of candies that came
with our GH kit from Target...

and my house turned out like this!:



i already know not to quit my day job! 
this was actually done by my husband and i.
we each took one side of the house. 
it was so fun! 

we are nestled down waiting for the white stuff that is
predicted for tomorrow :)

Phyl, I love those gingerbread kits at Target and even bought one for a friends Mother this year. You and your hubster did a great job decorating yours!!! Stay warm dear friend!!!

The two of you built quite a little home. Did you fill it with vintage do-dads?

Didn't know a kit for gingerbread houses existed. Once made some from graham crackers tho.

My son and I used to make gingerbread houses, and one year we made a train too. It was very cool. We filled the train cars with candy and used it as a centerpiece for a party. Last night my little nieces were showing me the houses that they made at a church family get-together. They were charming, as were all of their handmade ornaments. Little children at Chistmas make such a difference. LOve your gingerbread house too!

I've been wanting to make a gingerbread house but I know I'd have to sample all of the candy...boooooo
