Darlasue wasn't completely off when she said wheat or grain of some sort...she was the closest because the mountain isn't sand.
It is CORN :)
This mound is only half done as it will grow to hold 1.2 million bushels of corn, for the purpose of feeding cattle all year.
Darlasue says she loves paper things to do art with, so some sheet music is heading her way in California :)

Yes Darla~Field corn! Not the preferred corn for people although I hear people say they love it...I don't. Cookie is our local corn expert :) my corny friend!

I would have never guessed! The only kind of corn I think of is on the cob, with butter. LOL! Well, not really, but I rarely think of corn as a grain, which of course it is.
