*White Wednesday*

Get your feet off my new (old) crocheted coverlets!!!

I'm participating in White Wednesday hosted by Faded Charm :) I mean...Kathleen :)
One coverlet was made by my Uncle's mom who was Mrs. Mary Smithson Jackson of Hopkinsville, Ky.
But I don't know which one :)
I love them both!

These little felt baby shoes were my own :)
Verrrry old. Ancient. Relics.

YOU are invited,
*cordially of course* to make a wee doll quiltie to share on Sept. 30th.
OR show one that you snagged at a shop or from a granny who actually sat down long enough to make one.
Please take the button above and link to me, will you?
I did just that yesterday and I can't wait to show you :)

Wonderful that you have pieces of your families' heritage. I have one my bed, too, but I know nothing of its origins!
May try to participate in White Wednesday . . . one day . . .

see you there! said...

Beautiful crocheted spreads. All I could think of was how long it would take me to make one. That's a project I'd best leave alone.

Your little shoes are too sweet.

Oh I'd love to join in, but unfortunately I have no time... next time maybe?? Love the baby shoes and coverlets. I also have crocheted pretties made for me by family members- so special, isn't it?? When my hands were OK, I looved to crochet, and I made some lovely things too. Cannot do it anymore :(

Hi Phyl, Love those old crocheted pieces..... Glad you kept them all through the years... My mother had some of them --but they disappeared somewhere years ago... Darn!!!! (Of course, back then I wasn't interested in things like that much. Silly ME!!!!)

Beautiful WHITE Wednesday....

Thanks for the birdie photo you sent... Gorgeous!!!!

Those are the prettiest paws I have ever wonder, you had to have a photo shoot...before you said "Shoo cat, Shoo"
I bet those words never even crossed your mind...I would wager, you gave the owner of those silky toes, a fine scratch behind the ears, and told her to make herself at home...right here, next to this fluffy pillow...yup...that's what I thought.
