Ahhh FRIDAY...it is like having an itch scratched in ways, right?
I'm joining Friday Pretties today in celebration!
These tiny doll quilts are pretty to me today.
The one on the left is postage stamp size squares and it was found at a flea market.
This antique doll cradle is waiting *I guess* for a future grand child of the female sort. Girls ...do they play dolls anymore?
Doll quilts are simple, fast and fun with NO RULES!
I'm suggesting that we all grab a girl...sit down and stitch a wee quilt and pass on a cute little skill while showing some love :)
I'd LOVE to see any miniature quilts you have...do you?
Shall I host a show?

...Oh my I love your quilts...and you make it sound soo easy...maybe I could do it!..
p.s. on your banner pic the glass container is one of my favorite Wexford pieces...I collect it & sell.!
Those little quilts are adorable. The one your mom made looks very intricate. You should have a doll quilt blog party. We could all make one by a certain date. It would give me a reason to get my sewing machine back out.
Hello Sweet Phyllis,
Your doll quilts are WONDERFULL!!!!
Oh I LOVE to quilt!!!! and have done so since my babies were little...over 23 years...but have done only one doll quilt. I think I shall do a few for Christmas presents for the lovely little folks in our extended family...YUP!...it's settled...thanks dear one for the inspiration...

I suggest you do. I don’t quilt or have any miniature quilts, but I’ll enjoy seeing all those precious little quilts.

I love quilts --even tiny ones, Phyllis, but I'm no quilter... I would enjoy it if you sponsored a Miniature Quilt Show though.....
One of these days---you may get a granddaughter...
Have a nice weekend.

Betsy
Happy friday pretties darling...love Ria.....
I don't have little girls any more :>( but a teeny quilt might be fun. Yours are adorable. By the way, your hubbylicious photo is adorable and it made me laugh. I like that word:>)
Host a party and I'll come. I don't have any doll quilts so I can't participate but I'm a great appreciator :-)
