In search of a chicken biscuit for my elderly aunt this a.m. ,
I realized it was trash day and there were lots of strange and cool items on the roadside!
I circled around like a Buzzard (which happens to be my mother's maiden name...) then zoomed in and finally put this Amadeus chair in the back of my SUV. I had to leave behind the matching love seat! Oh horrors :) Literally!
Who is crazier? The one who painted this chair or the one who picked it up and brought it home? :)
Don't answer that.
This theatrical chair has big plans for a photo shoot in October :)
Oh.
And I did find the chicken biscuit. (for those who asked it is a biscuit with chicken...McDonald's)

Cool chair... but what's a chicken biscuit? I've had "chicken in a biscuit" crackers before... ;)
That chair is beyond cool, I could think of a few things to do with it come October too. :-) And I also want to know what a chicken biscuit is, never heard of that before.
That chair has so many possibilities...can't wait to see what you do with her.
Very cool! What do you have planned for it??
Just a quirky photo shoot :) nothing more.
My vote for crazy is the person who painted it. Yikes. Still, it has lots of possibility and you can't beat free:>)_
Hmmmmmmmm.... Chick Fil A has the BEST Chicken Biscuits... We always get one when we go to Hendersonville to check on G's parents.....
Don't know what to think about that chair--but knowing you, I'm sure it will be all fixed up and NEW when you finish with it.... Keep us posted!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Well, you must be one creative gal! I, sadly, have no vision when it comes to these things. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

Miss Blissity,
Oh!
The things you will do with that chair!
HORRORS indeed! Only YOU would find a chair like that and vision the true inner beauty.
What is it they say? Only a mother could love a chair like that.

DEFINITE possibilities! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Oh my Phyllis! Little cedar chests with locks... stuffed black bears... tomahawks... those are the very same things we always brought home from the mountains of NH! lol And I STILL have my little cedar chest stashed away (I'll get it out and photograph it someday). ;) I also still have one or two Native Amer. beaded leather souvenir wallets, too!
I am so glad that creative people can see beyond calamity! I can't wait to see what your playful mind comes up with in October!
Have a grand and glorious rest of the weekend!
