Serendipity at Serenity

(this is part 2...the cabin we stayed in is in the post below :) Haha! )
We didn't know if there would be a television at our remote cabin at Serenity Falls... but there was and actually a really good show was on when we got there!
The boys were more concerned if there would be a pool!
There was :)

Hiking was another attraction which didn't cost a dime.
We had a blast taking photos!

Oh you crazy gal.... Your blog friends are going to think that the cabin was like that first picture..... ha ha ha... (Read your first comment!) You are BAD... They are going to wonder what your friend put you up to.

Now you know why I love that place so much... It is truly a mountain getaway. I'd love to own that property. Did you meet and 'chat' with Pattie????? We had to run the other direction --or else she'd want to chat 24/7.... ha ha

Love that last picture of you and Bert... Almost made me cry ---happy tears. Glad he got to go with you. Happy Anniversary!!!!

Hope I 'really' didn't lead you into the wrong path.... Was it warm enough to enjoy the porch??? It's always been too cold when we are there... We need to go back when it's warmer.

Happy Easter... Sorry we didn't get to catch up with you all--but maybe another time.

Happy Anniversary, and a Happy Easter to you, as well, Phyllis.

What a lovely place to spend some time together. Mr. Staggs and I recently celebrated our 34th anniversary. Time flies. I sure wish I could slow it down some.

Best wishes!

You received the pan so quickly! but i am so sorry it hasn't worked :(
Here is a link of a filmed recipe, they just have added some lemon's zest (peel) if i find something better, i let you know :-)

Another link of the french factory of Madeleines:

This small cake is from the town of Commercy in Lorraine, where they say it, Stanislas Leszczynski, King of Poland and stepfather of Louis XV, had an opportunity to discover and appreciate in 1755. This pastry made by a peasant named Madeleine was named by King Stanislas who launched the fashion at Versailles and Paris, through his daughter Mary, wife of Louis XV.

Big hugs
