Meet my friend, Melba!
I told her not to give me any trouble now...and go put on something that wouldn't scream 2010...
She obliged but asked what in the world I was doing???
I told her that her kids (whom I've never met...) would thank her.
She does historical readings and poetry readings for groups interested in literature.
I thought we should have some photos of her in historical settings just in case,
you know,
she gets asked for some brochures or something...
maybe just to record a moment in time?
Is that silly?
We made use of my latest flea find...an old umbrella.

What a lovely woman and beautiful photo shoot! Go girl! These totally ROCK!
Miss Melba... you are beautiful!
Those are super great photos of Melba! Man, I always hate photos of me (one reason why you will never see a photo of me on my blog), you need to come and take my photo, I might actually look good! :-)
What great photo's. I'll bet Melba's kids, the one's you haven't met, will love them. I especially like the black and white photo because it looks so "vintage".
